Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler II - Refrigeration for the 1st shift. You will read blueprints, mount compressors and condensers, and fabricate tubing for refrigeration systems in environmental test equipment.

You’ll work with hand tools, welding equipment, and measuring devices, adapt to changing production needs, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting quality standards. This role requires teamwork, problem-solving, and a can-do attitude, with opportunities to grow within

Qualifications

• Read blueprints or schematic drawings to determine locations and sizes of components.
• Proficient with handheld tools and measuring devices.
• Able to work at multiple workstations and adapt to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or drawings to determine location, size, and type of components.
• Mount compressors or condensers in frame using hand tools and welding equipment.
• Cut, bend, braze tubing to form refrigerant lines.
• Adjust valves and charge the system with refrigerant as specified.
• Possibly assemble and mount electrical wiring circuits and controls.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
