Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Keosauqua, Iowa seeks an Assembler II – Sub Assembly Refrigeration to join our operations team. You will read orders and BOMs, identify parts, and assemble refrigeration components including coils, piping, and fittings.

You will perform leak checks, nitrogen fill, and prepare units for testing and final assembly. The role requires reading blueprints, using measuring tools, brazing tubing, and handling safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Identify parts on their assigned product line.
• Read blueprints or schematic drawings to determine components.
• Cut, bend, and braze specified tubing for refrigerant lines.
• Remove air from system and charge with refrigerant as specified.
• Pre-startup checks and tool identification for the line.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders and BOMs to select parts.
• Assemble refrigeration components and wiring per spec.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Use measuring tools and hand/power tools accurately.
• Identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling.
