Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Assembler II - Refrigeration to fabricate and assemble components for refrigeration systems used in environmental test equipment. You will read blueprints, mount compressors and condensers, fabricate tubing, and braze connections to complete liquid and suction lines.

The role requires proficiency with hand tools and welding, and a safety-conscious approach to building equipment. You will work in a fast-paced production environment with changing workloads.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints or schematics to determine locations and sizes of components.
• Experience mounting compressors, condensers and tubing on frames using hand tools and welding equipment.
• Familiar with brazing/tubing and charging refrigeration systems per specs.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or schematics to determine location and size of components.
• Mount compressors, condensers and other parts on frames per layout.
• Cut, bend and braze tubing to form liquid and suction lines for refrigeration systems.
• Adjust valves and evacuate/charge refrigerant per specifications.
• Assemble electrical wiring circuits and controls as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and use safety gear.
