Quirch Foods, LLC in Hammond, LA is seeking a warehouse selector to accurately pick and prepare orders in a refrigerated/frozen environment. You will operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks, stack and wrap pallets, and scan orders for shipment.

The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, standing for long periods, and adherence to safety rules. Evening schedule Sunday through Thursday starting at 5 PM, with potential extended hours and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Work schedule Sunday–Thursday, 5 PM to finish; overtime possible.
• Experience in a refrigerated warehouse as a selector and with powered equipment.
• Familiar with CK31/CK71 scanners; MHE experience; SQF certification preferred.
• Able to work in 0–36°F environment and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Accurately pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack and other equipment as needed.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe warehouse environment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE.
