Job summary

Bellevue Milk Plant in the DC area is seeking experienced Order Selectors to support distribution center operations. Use voice-directed technology and ride-on electric pallet jack to pick full-case dairy and perishable products in a refrigerated environment.

Positions run Tuesday through Saturday with a 60-day assignment and potential conversion to full-time based on attendance, performance, safety, and business needs. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States for an indefinite duration without limitations.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent order selecting experience required.
• Previous experience operating an electric pallet jack required.
• Must be able to obtain Company certification to operate electric pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English to perform the essential functions of the role.

Responsibilities

• Use a voice-directed order selection system to accurately select full-case dairy and perishable products.
• Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack to pick and transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Wear a voice-picking headset for the duration of the shift.
• Build stable pallets and prepare orders for shipment to local stores.
• Follow all safety, food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
