Certified Meat Products in Fresno, CA is seeking a dependable Dock Associate to load, unload, and organize products across shipping and receiving areas. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment.

The successful candidate will handle pallet jacks and other equipment, ensure proper labeling and documentation, and collaborate with multiple departments to maintain smooth shipments to customers.

Qualifications

• Warehouse/shipping/receiving or food-processing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Read and complete workplace documentation with reliability.
• Strong attention to detail and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive incoming products and verify quantities and condition.
• Prepare, stage, and organize products for shipment per requirements.
• Move product between production, storage, cooler, freezer, and shipping areas.
• Verify labels, quantities, dates and other required information.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, and material-handling equipment safely.
• Maintain an organized and clean dock area.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, GMP, and HACCP procedures.
• Communicate with Production, Warehouse, Transportation, QA, and other departments.
• Report damaged product or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Assist with inventory counts and product verification when needed.
• Complete required paperwork and logs accurately.
