Job summary

Daily's Premium Meats LLC is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Crew member to load and unload trucks, palletize loads, scan orders, and maintain orderly inventory in a temperature-controlled environment. The role supports supervision and adheres to GMPs, safety policies, and daily operating procedures.

The position requires attention to detail, basic math, English communication, and ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must be computer literate and able to learn new programs.
Ability to conduct inventories correctly.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and loading/unloading of trucks.
Know proper and common procedures for loading trucks.
Advanced forklift and pallet jack skills preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak English for communication with drivers and customers.
Strong communication skills for a fast-paced environment.
Basic math including percentages.

Responsibilities

Palletize and organize loads for shipment with correct stacking order.
Prepare and complete paperwork including bills of lading and invoices.
Ensure trucks are loaded in correct order for LTL transit, first stop loaded last.
Assist in inventories and maintain accurate counts.
Rotate to related duties within Shipping department.
Keep warehouse area clean and organized.
Use wireless handheld scanner for inventory reporting.
