Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a maintenance-oriented professional to support refractory brick and ceramic installations across furnaces and related equipment. You will troubleshoot, cut, install, and move refractory materials with cranes and forklifts, while maintaining strict safety standards.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up equipment, and collaborating with engineering and operations to ensure timely repairs and upgrades.

Qualifikationen

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and process flow diagrams as needed to perform tasks.
• Must be able to set up equipment for cutting brick to size and shape.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and flexible hours including weekends and holidays as necessary.
• ANSI fall protection compliance required.

Aufgaben

• Receives work orders and follows directions from supervisor or manager.
• Troubleshoots machine operations by observing and coordinating with leadership and staff.
• Installs refractory materials and constructs arches, barriers, and tops for furnaces.
• Sets up equipment for movement of refractory using cranes, forklifts, and related gear.
• Loads and unloads refractory supplies and maintains safety guidelines.
