Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ophthalmology experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and documents essential information to physicians and team members.
• Obtains insurance pre-authorizations for surgical procedures and reviews prices.
• Prepares charts and consents prior to surgery date.
• Develops marketing/outreach ideas and coordinates promotional activities.
• Schedules all pre-op, surgery, and post-op visits and maintains patient logs.
• Ensures compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
