Job summary

Tooele County School District is seeking a Refocus Center Mentor to assist with MTSS and student services operations. The role involves monitoring students, coordinating traffic and transportation, and supporting behavior and attendance initiatives.

The position supports daily school operations, communicates with staff and families, and helps ensure a safe learning environment. 29 hours per week with a 177-day schedule; equal pay and non-benefit eligibility are noted.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior successful clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with student behavior development, preventative activities, discipline, attendance, communications, operations and safety.
• Monitor students, coordinate traffic and transportation, prompt class transitions, deescalate behaviors, refocus students, investigate and document incidents, provide reports, and analyze attendance.
• Meet with students and parents to improve attendance and coordinate resources for instructional access and safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
