Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in Findlay, Ohio to partner with operators and end users across MPC Refining. You will help shape digital capabilities, including Digital Twins, connected worker solutions, and industrial data platforms, driving safety, reliability and efficiency.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver strategic digital initiatives, develop prototypes, and support iterative SDLC practices, while evaluating costs and ROI to guide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems preferred or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a business/IT role
• Experience with Data Contextualization or Industrial Digital Twin technologies preferred
• Experience supporting refining, manufacturing, industrial, or OT environments preferred
• Experience developing or supporting digital tools for rounds, logbooks, task tracking, or digital permitting preferred
• Proven ability to drive efforts across diverse teams in complex environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and define business processes to measure, analyze, improve and control processes.
• Drive results by taking concepts to implementation with focus on outcomes and adoption.
• Communicate requirements clearly with stakeholders and identify cross-functional impacts.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align priorities and deliver strategic digital initiatives.
• Develop recommendations for system alternatives or enhancements to current systems.
• Analyze performance metrics and drive business planning with iterative processes.
• Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems to inform decisions.
• Support improvements to team workflows and IT service delivery practices.
• Coordinate test case development and strategy for technology delivery.
• Plan and document user stories and feedback to support prototypes and wireframes.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems preferred

2+ years of relevant experience

Data Contextualization or Industrial Digital Twin technologies (preferred)

Experience supporting refining, manufacturing, industrial, or OT environments (preferred)

Experience developing or supporting digital tools for rounds, logbooks, task tracking, or digital permitting (preferred)

Proven ability to drive efforts across diverse teams and drive outcomes in complex environments (preferred)
