Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a security-related field.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Minimum 10 years of supervisory/professional security experience in high-risk settings.
• Experience interpreting security and emergency management regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the facility security team, access control/surveillance, dispatch and communications.
• Ensure MTSA, DHS TSA TWIC, CBP FTZ and state requirements are met.
• Support refinery emergency response and business continuity plans; be part of incident management.
• Conduct incident investigations and threat assessments as required.
• Coordinate with regulators and community groups to ensure safe operations.
• Lead engagement with agencies like USCG, DHS, FBI and JRIC.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve refinery outcomes.
• Identify security improvement opportunities leveraging technology/AI.
• Manage security/radio budget and vendor contracts.
• Represent Chevron in internal/external security groups.
