Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation’s St. Paul Park Refinery seeks a Rotating Equipment Mechanic to maintain pumps, compressors and related equipment. The role runs Monday–Thursday, 6:30 am–5:00 pm with possible overtime and requires passing a competency test.

Qualifications include 3+ years as a manual machinist, experience with a lathe and Bridgeport mill, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces. TWIC credential required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years’ manual machinist experience in last 5 years.
• Experience operating a manual lathe and Bridgeport milling machine.
• Experience in refinery setting preferred.
• Machinist certification preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces; SCBA use.
• TWIC credential required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain refinery pumps, compressors, blowers, and related rotating equipment.
• Perform tasks and projects assigned by supervision.
• Work Monday–Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm with potential overtime.
• Participate in competency tests (written and machinist skills demonstration).
