Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minnesota Master or Journey Electrician License required.
• 3 years of trade/relevant work experience required.
• Able to learn complex refinery-related material.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and commission electrical systems including switchgear, MCCs, transformers, VFDs, and control systems.
• Follow standards/specifications (Marathon, Industry, or Manufacturer).
• Perform preventative maintenance as part of Mechanical Integrity Program.
• Read electrical schematics and operate testing equipment.
• Follow Lock out/Tag out, permits, and safety procedures.
• Adhere to Marathon’s electrical safe work practices.
• Racking in/out circuit breakers; maintain training and PPE use.
• Support TAR as required.
