Job summary

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Enrolled (as of January 2027) in last year of a Process Technology degree program.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Willing and able to follow safety rules and pass required trainings (Operator Core Training for Interns and New Employee Safety Training).
• Able to work and commute to Sweeny, TX and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and operations within the unit.
• Climb ladders, tanks, and towers.
• Take samples and read process streams.
• Initiate work orders and permits as needed.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and effective shift communication.
• Work 12-hour shifts, with nights and weekends as required.
• Complete mandated safety trainings and regulatory checks.
• Assist with construction and maintenance projects and cost-reduction efforts.
