Phillips 66 is offering an Operator Intern position at the Sweeny Refinery in Old Ocean, Texas. You will support day-to-day refinery operations under the Production Superintendent, while meeting safety and training requirements. Applicants must be enrolled in the last year of a Process Technology degree program (as of January 2027) and be prepared for a February 2027 start date.

Qualificações

• Enrolled (as of January 2027) in the last year of a Process Technology degree program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• GPA at or above 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willing to follow all safety rules and training requirements.
• Willing to work 20+ hours per week and overtime as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain equipment and operations.
• Climb ladders, tanks and towers.
• Take samples and read process streams.
• Initiate work orders and permits for the unit.
• Maintain safe and proper process operations and communicate effectively.
• Perform routine pipeline and terminal maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and adhere to procedures.
