Chevron in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Experienced Maintenance I/E (Instrumentation & Electrical & Analyzer) to perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and construction work at the refinery. The role requires 24/7 operations, overtime, weekends, and occasional shifts.

The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency, with responsibilities across instrumentation, electrical, and analyzer systems, including gas chromatographs and environmental analyzers.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum 3 years' experience as instrument technician, industrial electrician, or analyzer technician.
Minimum 3 years' experience in the petroleum industry.
Knowledge of instrumentation, electrical, or analyzer systems troubleshooting and repair.
Must be able to use computers to enter work histories and perform compliance activities.

Responsibilities

Performs troubleshooting, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on instrumentation, electrical, and analyzer equipment.
Disassembles, repairs, assembles, and installs instrumentation, electrical, and analyzer equipment as required.
Uses test equipment such as multimeters, signal generators, and communicators safely and effectively.
Read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and vendor prints.
Work in Process Plant, Shop, and Off-Plot environments.
Plan and organize own work independently or as part of a team.
