Job summary

Chevron Corporation's El Segundo Refinery IC&E team designs, tests, installs and maintains instrumentation, process automation, and low voltage power systems to support safe, reliable operations.

We are seeking a Designs Engineer, IC&E with 3+ years in electrical power engineering to contribute to reliability, outage execution, and cross-functional projects. Relocation may be considered; US payroll applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Electrical Power Engineering in heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and distribution.
• Experience with protective relays, motors, transformers, switchgear, UPS.
• Knowledge of ETAP software for electrical studies.
• Interest in instrumentation and automation systems.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, install and maintain instrumentation, automation systems and low voltage power.
• Provide technical support to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Support reliability improvement and outage execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations and maintenance.
