Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation in Tulsa, OK seeks an experienced Instrumentation Technician to troubleshoot, install, repair and calibrate indicating, recording, and controlling instruments used in refinery processes. The role requires reading schematics, understanding digital control systems, and maintaining pH, hydrocarbon, H2S detectors, and furnace oxygen analyzers.

Strong problem solving and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of industrial, chemical plant, or refinery experience required.
• A comprehensive physical examination and drug screen are required.
• Ability to troubleshoot, install, repair, and calibrate pneumatic and electronic process control instruments and valves.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain and calibrate pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables.
• Disassemble, test and repair malfunctioning instrumentation and circuitry.
• Troubleshoot equipment and replace defective parts in control loops.
• Test, calibrate and reinstall instrumentation and PLCs.
• Interpret test results and ensure instruments meet specifications.
