Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation in Sinclair, WY seeks an E&I Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot refinery electrical and instrumentation systems. Responsibilities include calibration, safety testing, documentation, and PLC programming within an outdoor refinery environment.

Preferred candidates have refinery experience or related industrial settings and an apprenticeship or associate degree in electrical trades. A high school diploma or GED is required and a flexible schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electrical or instrumentation in refinery/chemical plant or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and repair refinery electrical equipment.
• Test and maintain electrical safety and instrument safety systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and process control valves.
• Test, program, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Proficient with computer usage including Microsoft Office and Maximo for records and maintenance documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
