Job summary

Savage Services seeks an Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy machinery at the Citgo Lake Charles refinery, handling petroleum coke and supporting maintenance per Savage standards. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, safety observance, and assist the coke-handling team with loading and moving material.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating large pieces of heavy equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to move, stockpile, and load material.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment.
• Report maintenance issues to the maintenance crew.
• Support safety and environmental compliance programs.
• Work as part of the coke-handling team at the refinery.
