Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Heavy Craft Technician on-site at the Lemont Refinery in Illinois. The role covers operating mobile equipment, performing fixed and preventive maintenance, and completing basic maintenance tasks in a refinery environment.

Salary range is $44.23-$51.67 per hour, with benefits and an application deadline of 2026-09-20. Candidates must have basic maintenance skills, understanding of piping and hydrotesting, and a valid TWIC or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance and inspection skills required for refinery equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use basic shop equipment.
• Knowledge of piping fundamentals and hydrotesting procedures.
• Proficiency with precision measuring devices and safe crane/overhead davit operation.
• Work in a refinery environment, outdoors, with climbing and SCBA use.
• Strong safety mindset and decision-making for plant personnel protection.
