Job summary

Mainstream Pine Products, LLC is seeking a Refinery Field Operator to support safe, efficient operation of our refinery and related process systems. You will monitor equipment, perform transfers, sample products, and assist with startups, shutdowns, and routine adjustments in a team-driven environment.

This role requires physical work in an industrial refinery setting, with shift work and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial, refinery, or chemical processing operations preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate industrial equipment.
• Ability to follow operating procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to safety, environmental compliance, and operational discipline.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine field inspections of refinery equipment, tanks, pumps, piping systems, valves, utilities, and process areas.
• Monitor operating conditions and report abnormal process conditions, equipment issues, leaks, or safety concerns.
• Assist with refinery startups, shutdowns, product changeovers, and operational transitions.
• Operate pumps, valves, transfer systems, and related process equipment in accordance with operating procedures.
• Perform product sampling, inspections, measurements, and operational documentation.
• Support process troubleshooting and operational improvement initiatives.
