Job summary

Wyoming Refining Company, part of Par Pacific, seeks an Environmental Engineer to support day-to-day environmental compliance activities at the Wyoming facility. You will monitor regulatory requirements, assist with reporting, and coordinate projects with environmental, operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.

The role involves field work and office duties, with emphasis on regulatory adherence, inspections, and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Petroleum, or related) or Environmental Science.
• 8+ years of environmental experience with emphasis on compliance and regulatory programs preferred.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee day-to-day environmental compliance activities (wastewater, groundwater, waste management, remediation, air quality).
• Report regulatory compliance and tracking, and assist with agency inspections.
• Manage or participate in environmental and compliance-related projects, including contractor coordination and field execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes and propose future initiatives.
• 50% office work, 50% field work as applicable.
