Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of environmental compliance experience in refining, petrochemical, or related regulated industrial operations.
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting, audits, inspections, and agency interactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, technical writing, and training material development.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned environmental compliance programs and improve performance to meet regulatory and permit requirements.
• Develop strategies, monitoring plans, procedures, and management tools for ongoing compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and ESH personnel.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, regulatory reporting, and agency interactions for the programs.
• Direct contractor and environmental service provider activities, including review of work products and budgets.
• Analyze data and metrics to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead investigations of incidents and deviations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare and review regulatory reports, permit applications, and environmental documentation.
• Develop and deliver environmental training to strengthen organizational understanding.
