A prominent engineering firm in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Mid-Senior Level Electrical Engineer to manage electrical field engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering and 10-25 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly with high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems. Qualifications

• Active TWIC card or ability to obtain one quickly.
• 10 – 25 years of experience in Oil & Gas, dealing with high, medium, and low voltage systems.
• Experience with high/medium/low voltage switchgear and substations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical field engineering activities.
• Review Electrical and Instrumentation Work Packages and ensure documentation is complete.
• Oversee refinery projects including design review and installation.
• Design review, cost estimation, procurement and installation, site and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical field engineering activities for all electrical equipment. Activities include engineering document reviews, resolving constructability issues
• Responsible for reviewing Electrical and Instrumentation Work Packages, Design Base Memorandum and Design Specifications. Initiating walkdowns, creating/ maintaining punch lists and verification and sign-over of turnover documentation, as well as participation in commissioning and startup activities.
