Job description

Referrals Specialist – Tucson, AZ

Schedule: M-F 8-5 PM

Pay Rate: $18/hr

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Calling referred patients that come in via email, fax and phone.
• Follow‑up with patients to schedule appointments.
• Communicates with the referring Doctor’s office on correspondence related to mutual patients.
• Assist with answering phones, handling appointment rescheduling, recalls and providing call center and front desk support as needed.
• Organizes interpreting needed for ASL patients.
• Manages, organizes and maintains patient data, ensuring files are accurate, complete and compliant with HIPAA and legal requirements.
• Scans, indexes and retrieves electronic and paper records, manage data entry and handle release‑of‑information requests for insurance companies and physicians.

Must Have Qualifications

• 1 year of Patient Referrals

Benefits

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
