The Referrals Coordinator at IHA serves as a working referrals representative, supervising day-to-day central referrals operations in the absence of the Referrals Manager. This role provides leadership to staff and collaborates with Training Specialists and Medical Group leadership to improve workflows.

Position Purpose: The Referrals Coordinator acts as a working referrals representative who is able to perform the everyday duties as the other representatives when needed. Oversees the day-to-day functions of the central referrals department on a daily basis and in the absence of the Referrals Manager. Acts as a role model and provides leadership to staff in the department. Works closely with the Referrals Training Specialists and Medical Group leadership and provides feedback on any trends, concerns or workflows that may impact referrals.
