Bon Secours is seeking a Referral & Insurance Specialist at the Ghent Station Medical Office Building to manage referrals, eligibility verification, and billing queries. You will schedule tests and appointments, enter data into the billing system, and assist patients with billing questions, ensuring accurate charge entry and timely processing.

The role requires 2-3 years in a related medical field, preferably with referral processing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years in a related medical field with referral processing experience preferred.
• Experience handling insurance authorizations and billing processes preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtain authorizations from insurance for referrals to physicians and facilities.
• Schedule testing or physician appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility/coverage by phone/fax/Internet.
