Qualifications

• Experience: One year direct patient experience in a medical insurance or healthcare related industry.

Responsibilities

• Process patient referrals for the practices in the market.
• Facilitate referrals to outside facilities.
• Coordinate scheduling of office visits for referred patients.
• Assist patients with finding resources that accept various insurances.
• Obtain pre-authorization from payers and assist with medication approvals when needed.
• Update patient charts and ensure referral data is accurate.
• Set up referring providers, payers and chart mergers in the Electronic System.
