St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is seeking a qualified professional to handle referrals and pre-authorizations, schedule appointments, and coordinate care across departments to support our providers and patients in the Greater Philadelphia area.
The role emphasizes strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills, with daily use of Epic and Microsoft Office tools to ensure accurate processing and timely delivery of services.
This position is responsible for processing referral and authorization requests for all providers practicing within a given area and ensuring that when needed, referral/authorization numbers are obtained for these services. Access to specialty and ancillary services is a key component of the satisfaction of our patients and referring providers. The responsibilities of this position are extremely important in meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction.
Schedule: Mon – Fri 8:30a - 5p. The scheduled start and end times require flexibility to meet the needs of the practice.
