The Referral Coordinator at Bush & Bush Law Group serves as a critical liaison between the firm, potential clients, and external legal partners. This role involves evaluating incoming case inquiries, identifying opportunities for referral to external attorneys or firms, and ensuring a seamless handoff while maintaining exceptional communication and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to uphold the firm's reputation for professionalism and client care.
Compensation: $15-$16 an hour.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Screening: Review incoming leads and case inquiries to determine eligibility for in-house handling or external referral
- Referral Management: Coordinate and document referrals to partner law firms or attorneys, including maintaining up-to-date records on outcomes and statuses
- Communication: Act as a point of contact between clients and referral partners, ensuring a smooth transition and timely follow-up
- Database Maintenance: Update internal systems (e.g., CRM, case management software) with accurate client and referral partner information
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on referral activity, trends, and performance metrics for internal use
- Relationship Building: Maintain positive, professional relationships with existing and potential referral partners
- Compliance: Ensure all referrals are compliant with applicable legal and ethical standards, including proper documentation and communication protocols
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in legal studies, or a related field preferred
- Experience: 1-3 years in a legal, or professional services environment preferred, especially in an intake, case management, or coordinator role
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Customer-service orientation and professionalism
- Familiarity with case management software and CRM systems (e.g., Clio, Salesforce, or similar)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of personal injury or related legal fields is a plus
