Archbold Primary Care in Thomasville, GA is seeking a Referral Coordinator to manage precertifications and scheduling for diagnostic tests. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and experience with insurance precert/authorizations. Full-time, day shift (8am–5pm).

CMA preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. You will work with physicians, office staff, and families to coordinate timely, efficient patient care in a busy clinic environment.

Required Skills: Effective verbal and written communication for interaction with departments, families and physician offices. Self-motivated. Able and willing to work with management and understand and follow directions. Able to work with computer and telephone equipment. Communication and public relation skills should be excellent. Able to type.

Referral Coordinator - Archbold Primary Care Schedules and Precerts all diagnostic testing that require precertification.

Physical Demands: Occasionally exposed to chemicals, moving objects, loud noise. Rarely exposed to blood, body tissue/fluids, hazardous materials, dust, high elevations, slippery surface, special clothing/safety equipment, potential burns. Able to see objects closely, as in reading, on a continuous basis. Able to see objects far away occasionally. Potential lifting of objects weighing: 10 pounds or less--frequently, 20 pounds or less--occasionally, 35 pounds or less--rarely. The highest point of any lift--overhead. The lowest point of any lift--the floor. Able to carry objects:10 pounds or less-- frequently, 50 pounds or less--rarely. Able to push/pull objects using maximum effort occasionally. Able to sit 2 hours consecutively. Able to stand in place 10 minutes consecutively. Remain on feet 20 minutes consecutively. Able to perform motor skills, such as finger manipulation. Occasionally bending, twisting, turning, climbing stairs, reaching out, reaching up. Able to perform tasks which require arm/hand and hand/eye coordination on a continuous basis. Able to perform upper body coordination continuously. Lower body coordination occasionally. Able to concentrate on fine detail with interruptions on a continuous basis.
