Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalant required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a health center setting, preferred.
• Knowledge in scheduling.
• Knowledge of referral processing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates referrals to specialty providers.
• Coordinates orders for outpatient testing.
• Schedules appointments, advises patient, prepares referral packets and mails to patients’ home.
• Completes and faxes order forms.
• Coordinates follow-up with patients and providers.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation in I2I.
