Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in the United States.
• Nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma or BSN) from an accredited program.
• Accreditation by ACEN or CCNE at program completion.
• Bridge program path to licensure may apply.
• Foreign nursing degree requires degree equivalency validation.

Responsibilities

• Triage and review incoming referrals to confirm appropriate care pathways.
• Serve as liaison between VA providers, specialty services, and community care partners.
• Provide clear guidance on care options and scheduling processes.
• Maintain compliant referral documentation using VA health systems.
• Support nursing leadership and participate in quality improvement activities.
