Job summary

QuarterLine, a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a Referral Management Center Specialist to support our healthcare team at a Military Treatment Facility. You will handle referrals, schedule appointments, and assist patients and staff with questions while maintaining confidentiality and timely processing.

The role emphasizes professional customer service, accurate documentation in MHS GENESIS, and collaboration with outside providers and insurers when services are not

Qualifications

• US Citizen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• One year of administrative experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting.
• Referral management, medical scheduling, patient administration, or insurance verification preferred.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency and keyboarding sufficient to sustain electronic health record workflow.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Ability to obtain and maintain favorable background investigation, a Common Access Card, and MTF-specific badge and system access.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross) where required by the supported MTF, plus HIPAA, Privacy Act, information assurance, and MTF-directed initial and annual training.

Responsibilities
