Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Pre-Service Coordinator to support the Mississippi Youth Programs Around the Clock (MYPAC). You will market for referrals, gather and verify eligibility, coordinate with clinical teams, and provide crisis support as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

The role requires a Master's in a social services field and Mississippi DMH credentialing, with the ability to work non-traditional hours and travel up to 60–100 miles as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline is required.
• Must have or be eligible for Mississippi DMH credentialing.
• Experience in mental health assessments and working with at-risk youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Market to referral sources and maintain contact for referrals.
• Collect clinical information for MYPAC admission and verify Medicaid eligibility.
• Provide crisis response during eligibility determination.
• Attend weekly meetings for professional development and supervision.
• Document accurately in the EMR system and complete referral packets.
• Coordinate care across clinical, care coordination, and case management services.
• Support families and youth with intensive community-based services.
