Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline is required.
• Mississippi DMH credentialing is required.
• Experience in providing customer service and comprehensive mental health assessments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Markets for new referrals and identifies referral targets in the community.
• Maintains regular contact with referral sources and external/internal customers.
• Communicates weekly with Regional Supervisor about referrals and census projections.
• Processes forms, conducts assessments, and completes referral packets for Placement Services.
• Gathers clinical information for MYPAC admission and verifies Medicaid eligibility.
• Provides crisis response and intervention during eligibility determinations.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and trainings.
• Documents accurately in an EMR system and performs other duties as assigned.
