Aria Community Health Center is seeking a Referral Coordinator to process referrals, obtain authorizations, and coordinate follow-up under the Referral Program Supervisor. You will interact with patients and clinical staff, ensuring timely referrals and accurate documentation in NextGen and i2i.

Experience with medical records, healthcare settings, and strong communication skills are essential. This role emphasizes HIPAA compliance and teamwork across clinic locations.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved program.
• Two years of Authorizations/Referrals experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with EMR and standard PC software applications required.

Responsibilities

• Process referral requests accurately and document actions in EMR (NextGen & i2i).
• Conduct follow-up referrals activities for pending referrals and track appointment results.
• Notify patients and referring offices of benefits and appointment status.
