Job summary

Labcorp in Lynchburg, VA seeks an Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join our team. The role focuses on specimen preparation, data entry, and client office communication in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will perform accessioning, sort samples, and support the testing workflow while maintaining accuracy and safety. The position requires a HS diploma, 1 year lab or data-entry experience, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Vaccination required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in laboratory, accessioning, data entry or manufacturing is preferred.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens and working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Labcorp is seeking a Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join our team in Lynchburg, VA.

Work Schedule: The schedule for this position will be varied Mon - Friday 7:00am - 11:30pm and rotating weekends 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Job Responsibilities

The position, Hospital Reference Test Clerk, will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment located onsite with one of our client offices.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience in laboratory or accessioning or data entry or manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of medical or patient facing healthcare experience

Pay Range

Pay Range: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
