NC Department of Adult Correction is seeking staff to assess offender needs, develop case plans, monitor results, and revise plans to meet system objectives. The role includes counseling, answering questions, and coordinating rehabilitation programs.

The position requires eligibility for state certification, a background check, and drug screening. It is a full-time role within state facilities with weekend and holiday duties as needed.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Recreation, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• High school diploma or GED with two years custody experience.
• Must be eligible for certification by NC CJ Education & Training Standards Commission.

Responsabilidades

• Assess offender needs and develop counseling strategies.
• Answer questions and provide information on classification and sentencing status.
• Coordinate and implement rehabilitation program activities.
• Conduct work release/home leave investigations and coordinate re-entry planning.
