Neighborhood House Association is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to provide clinical care coordination for incarcerated individuals preparing to re-enter the community. The role includes mental health and substance use assessments, individual and group counseling, case management, and coordinating with community resources.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in a mental health or related field.
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California; intern credentials acceptable.
• Two years of progressive experience in a substance use/mental health setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide co-occurring assessments, clinical case management and individual counseling pre- and post-release.
• Conduct group counseling sessions (psychoeducation, job readiness, relapse prevention).
• Facilitate employment preparation services (resume writing, interview skills, applications).
• Perform crisis intervention and arrange linkages to needed services (housing, mental health, vocational).
• Maintain detailed documentation, client progress notes and service plans; coordinate with community resources.
