Job summary

EDEN Inc. seeks a Stability Specialist to assist individuals exiting prison who are homeless or at risk of losing housing.

The role involves finding housing, outreach in homes and the community, coordinating emergency moves, and acting as a liaison between landlords and tenants to support tenancy. Responsibilities include educating participants on EDEN subsidy programs, coordinating with housing eligibility staff and property managers, and collaborating with partners to remove housing barriers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services related field required.
• Two years of background in social services, preferably with individuals with criminal backgrounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transporting participants.

Responsibilities

• Outreaches to participants to assist with housing retention or finding housing.
• Responds to referrals from EDEN staff, partner agencies, landlords, and governmental offices.
• Maintains referrals and reports statistics to supervisor.
• Educates participants on subsidy programs EDEN administers.
• Works with participants, subsidy staff, property managers, and partners to arrange needed support.
