Job summary

CoreCivic seeks a Facility Director to lead custodial, program, personnel and business operations at a residential reentry facility across Texas. The role emphasizes responsibility for implementing departmental strategies and ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a social/behavioral field, extensive program admin and 5+ years of supervisory experience, plus strong communications skills and knowledge of government regulations in reentry settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social or behavioral science field is required.
• Seven years of experience in program administration, policy administration, or public administration is required.
• Five years of supervisory experience is required.
• Knowledge of business management principles, laws and regulations applicable to residential/reentry/corrections industries is required.
• Experience with criminal justice or substance use populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall administration of custodial, programs, personnel and business operations for the facility.
• Develop and implement new approaches to departmental administration; plan and direct activities.
• Review and evaluate staff performance with managers to ensure conformance with guidelines, policies, and laws.
• Supervise hiring, training, counseling and development, conduct evaluations, approve leave, and participate in grievance procedures.
