Job summary

Turning Point of Central California, Inc. oversees the Golden State Residential Reentry Center, a federally funded program with FBOP partnership. The Monitor II supervises residents on site and home confinement, conducts security checks, and documents incidents to ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include urinalysis, breath alcohol testing, and coordination with program staff to support successful community reintegration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year monitor experience with FBOP or similar justice-involved population preferred.
• Adhere to HIPAA and PHI/PII privacy.
• Ability to work effectively with staff and participants.
• CPR and emergency first aid certification is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor FBOP adults in custody residents on site and on home confinement.
• Collaborate with the Program Director to support resident accountability and successful reentry.
• Maintain confidentiality per FBOP standards and Turning Point policies.
• Conduct security checks, rounds, counts, and facility inspections.
• Perform urine testing and alcohol testing using EBMD.
• Document incidents and rule violations promptly and accurately.
