Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer (Redis) to design and implement high-performance caching and real-time data solutions, aligning data requirements with in-memory storage for sub-millisecond latency.

You will design Redis caching strategies, Lua scripts, manage clusters, and collaborate with backend teams to integrate Redis into distributed microservices. This 100% remote role offers USD compensation and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Database Engineering.
• Proven expertise in architecting and managing caching and real-time data solutions using Redis.
• Proficiency with Redis data structures, pub/sub mechanisms, and Lua scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Redis cluster mode and high-availability configurations.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable caching strategies and real-time data architectures using Redis.
• Develop and optimize data structures and Lua scripts to enhance performance and atomicity.
• Manage and tune Redis clusters for high availability, memory utilization, and persistence.
• Implement and maintain event-driven messaging using Redis pub/sub and streaming.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate Redis into distributed microservices.
