Job summary

Rapid7 is seeking a Vector Command Specialist to join the Vector Command Red Team. You will work with offensive security consultants to assess customers’ external attack surfaces, perform OSINT, and help deliver monthly reports.

You will collaborate daily with Rapid7 personnel and support testing operations across customer environments. The role emphasizes translating technical concepts for non-security stakeholders, coordinating with MDR and MVM teams, and providing end-to-end testing support

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an active technical security role.
• Experience with external attack surface reconnaissance techniques.
• Familiarity with OSINT gathering and social-engineering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support Vector Command customers by conducting external attack surface analysis and exposure reconnaissance.
• Prepare monthly red team report deliverables.
• Coordinate and host monthly update calls with Rapid7 Red Team lead.
• Translate technical concepts for non-security personnel.
• Develop scripts to query and analyze attack surface data from multiple sources.
