Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Coordinator in Wisconsin to run the Red Kettle Campaign during the holiday season and beyond. You will recruit volunteer bell ringers, schedule ringing times, and coordinate locations to maximize donations while ensuring compliance with guidelines.

You will manage cash handling with volunteers, oversee drop-offs and transfers to the bank, and report deposits weekly to the Field Rep. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Volunteer recruitment and scheduling experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience dealing with people in a customer service or sales role.

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteer bell ringers and groups and establish dates, times and locations.
• Contact volunteers by phone or email to schedule ringing times.
• Manage campaign website for volunteer sign-ups.
• Sort kettle money with volunteers per applicable guidelines.
• Transfer money to bank for processing per applicable guidelines.
• Drop off and pick up kettles.
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community.
• Copy checks dropped in kettles and get them to Field Rep.
• Weekly report to Field Rep of deposits made.
• Call established bell ringing sites the first week of November to ask permission to ring and start date; discuss concerns with managers.
• Coordinate with Field Rep on site logistics (e.g., Walmart).
