Job summary

The Salvation Army in Wisconsin is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to manage daily tasks for our Red Kettle Campaign. You will recruit and schedule volunteer bell ringers, coordinate times and locations, and oversee money handling with volunteers.

Responsibilities include outreach to communities, processing kettle deposits with field representatives, and maintaining schedules and communications from November through December. Valid driver’s license required for site visits and pickups.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recruit and coordinate volunteers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and scheduling volunteer bell ringers and locations.
• Contacting volunteers by phone or email to schedule ringing times.
• Managing campaign website sign-ups (if applicable).
• Sorting kettle money with volunteers per guidelines.
• Transferring money to bank for processing per guidelines.
• Promoting bell ringing opportunities in the community.
• Making copies of checks and forwarding to Field Rep.
• Providing weekly deposit reports to Field Rep.
• Calling bell ringing sites in early November to confirm start dates.
