Job summary

The Salvation Army in Wisconsin is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to run the Red Kettle Campaign’s daily tasks. You will recruit volunteer bell ringers, schedule locations and times, and manage sign-ups and communications with volunteers and site managers.

You will also oversee kettle money sorting with volunteers, transfer funds to the bank, and report deposits weekly to the Field Rep. The role includes community outreach to promote bell ringing opportunities and ensure smooth operations during

Qualifications

• Volunteer recruitment and coordination experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to schedule and organize volunteer events and bell ringers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteer bell ringers and groups and set dates, times, and locations.
• Contact volunteers via phone or email to schedule ringing times.
• Manage campaign website for volunteer sign-ups if applicable.
• Sort kettle money with volunteers following guidelines and process deposits.
• Transfer money to bank for processing per guidelines.
• Drop off and pick up kettles as needed.
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community.
• Copy checks from kettles and deliver to Field Rep.
• Provide weekly deposit reports to Field Rep (Mondays or Tuesdays).
• Call established bell ringing sites in early November to confirm start dates and address concerns.
